Join us for a cozy, hands-on junk journaling workshop designed for all levels, whether you’re brand new or already deep into saving scraps. (Optional Beginner Supplies Kit available)
Come create with Janice, owner of the Nashville Junk Journal Club (@nashvillejunkjournalclub on TikTok). Janice is known for hosting free, welcoming junk journaling meetups around Nashville, and for this special event she’ll be guiding you through a step-by-step workshop to help you confidently get started or refresh your approach.
You don't need experience. You don't need to bring supplies (though you can). Just show up, and Janice will show you how it works. Whether you’ve never made a junk journal page before or you’ve been collecting paper bits “for someday,” this workshop is all about learning, experimenting, and connecting with fellow paper lovers in a relaxed, supportive space.
What You’ll Learn & Create
We’ll cover the essentials in an easy, hands-on way:
- What junk journaling is and how to discover your style
- How to choose a theme and build a page layout
- Techniques like layering, pockets, tags, tucks, and simple embellishments
- Tips for collecting and organizing ephemera without feeling overwhelmed
- How to make pages feel cohesive (even when using “random” scraps)
You’ll create multiple starter pages during class and leave with ideas and techniques you can repeat at home.
