Q: How do you use a wax seal stamp?

Light a wax seal bead in a melting spoon until fully liquid, pour a pool onto paper, count three seconds, then press the stamp firmly and hold for 10-15 seconds before lifting. Use flexible sealing wax for mailable envelopes. The Wax Seal Guide for Beginners on the blog covers every step.

Q: Can wax sealed letters go through the mail?

Yes, if you use flexible sealing wax (not traditional hard wax, which can crack under postal sorting machines). CoraCreaCrafts sealing wax is formulated for mailable letters. Reinforce delicate envelopes with a clear sticker over the seal.
